How It Works

Customer

1. Customer logs into My Account.
2. Opens Exchange Request.
3. Selects an eligible completed order.
4. Selects the product and quantity.
5. Provides the exchange reason.
6. Uploads proof if required.
7. Submits the exchange request.

Store Admin

1. Admin receives the exchange notification.
2. Opens the WooCommerce order.
3. Reviews the exchange request.
4. Checks the requested products and proof.
5. Selects Approved or Rejected.
6. If approved, the order changes to Exchange Accepted.
7. If rejected, the admin provides a rejection reason.
8. The customer receives the appropriate email notification.

Requirements

• Logged-in customer account for submitting exchange requests

Installation

1. Download the plugin ZIP.
2. Go to WordPress Admin → Plugins → Add New Plugin.
3. Click Upload Plugin.
4. Upload the plugin ZIP.
5. Install and activate the plugin.
6. Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Exchange.
7. Configure your exchange settings.
8. Customers can then access My Account → Exchange Request.

Exchange Statuses

The plugin supports:

• Pending – Exchange request is waiting for admin review.
• Approved – Admin has approved the exchange.
• Rejected – Admin has rejected the exchange with a reason.
• Exchange Accepted – WooCommerce order status after an exchange is approved.

Privacy & Security

Exchange proof files are handled through a protected download mechanism. Access is restricted based on the customer’s order ownership or appropriate administrator permissions.

The plugin also validates submitted order information and uploaded files on the server side.
